(DSI) is a custom fabricating company with ties to many different industries. In the earlier years the projects consisted primarily of metal fabrication for auto shows and trade shows. With some theater and museum work for creative challenge and the WDIV Channel 4 news set providing some mainstream visibility, the projects were still predominantly show and display oriented. In the last few years however, the scope of DSI’s work has broadened into a wide array of industries and applications. From decorative architectural components to industrial enclosure panels and frames for machine parts; from retail store fixtures to high school marching band space ships; from decorative light sconces to industrial steel racks; from stainless steel furniture parts to emergency repairs on stage show puppets; from custom glass pucks to retail electronics displays; from portable video kiosks to robotics practice fields......all these and much more have been produced by DSI in recent years. In May of 2005 Display Structures celebrated its tenth anniversary! One decade down and many more to go.
